Television paid a visit to the Victoria Palace to relay the 852nd performance of Me and My Girl in its entirety.

Also attending the performance were the King and Queen. As their permission had not be sought beforehand, it was not possible to show their Majesties in the Royal Box. The cameras were spotted by the Queen, however, who pointed them out to the King. At Buckingham Palace, meanwhile, Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret watched the first act on television.

Lupino Lane played the part of Bill Snibson, while Sally , his girlfriend, was played by Teddy St. Dennis.
